  About the Artist . . .

Victor Meyer has been creating glass art since 1970. His craft, known as "Lampworking", is named from the 17th century artisans' method of heating glass over an oil lamp.

Bicycle Victor learned the art of Lampworking while living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After spending two years in Colorado, Victor moved to California. However, he dreamed of returning to the Rocky Mountain area. In 1984, that dream became a reality. Victor made Palmer Lake, Colorado his home. He now lives there with his wife and daughter.

Unicorn The natural beauty of Victor's home environment is strongly reflected in the elegance of his sculptures.

Victor explains, "I feel it is important for an artist to be moved by the beauty around him, and Colorado certainly does just that!"

Each glass sculpture is made individually by Victor's own hands, satisfaction guaranteed.
